Pyralvex
PYRALVEX liquid contains rhubarb extract (standardised to contain 0.5% anthraquinone glycosides) and salicylic acid BP 1%. Other ingredients include ethyl alcohol and water.
PYRALVEX does not contain any artificial colourings.
This pack contains 10ml liquid.
Rhubarb extract contains anthraquinone glycosides which relieve inflammation. Salicylic acid is an analgesic which helps to relieve pain.

PYRALVEX brings relief from pain associated with mouth ulcers and denture irritation.
Before you use PYRALVEX.
Do not use PYRALVEX is you are allergic (hypersensitive) to rhubarb extract or salicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of PYRALVEX.
Talk to your doctor before you use PYRALVEX if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
For hygienic reasons, this pack must only be used by one person.
Not to be used by children under the age of 12 years.
Directions for use
If you wear dentures, remove them before applying PYRALVEX. Using the brush provided, apply PYRALVEX liberally to the sore areas of the mouth 3-4 times daily. Always replace the cap after use.
Avoid rinsing the mouth or eating for 15 minutes after application.
When using PYRALVEX
Being a coloured liquid, PYRALVEX can stain material and care should therefore be taken to ensure that the liquid is not split or dropped onto clothing.
If your symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult your dentist or doctor.
Like all medicines PYRALVEX can cause side-effects, although not everybody gets them. Very commonly, a short-term burning feeling can occur where PYRALVEX is used. A temporary discolouration of the teeth or mouth can also occur commonly but this is easily removed during normal cleaning of the teeth. If any of the side effects becomes serious, or you notice any side effects not listed in the leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage Precautions
Do not use this pack after the expiry date which is shown on the label and carton.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
This pack should be stored below 25°C.
